The Order of Mages appeared long before the Great War occurred and with their help, many battles were won on both sides. Trained by Ethereals in the use of magic, Mages can harness great power and are capable of causing great destruction. They have taken it upon themselves to become the defenders of Irisians from external influences, even that of Eres or Apollon. After years of working with magic in its pure energy form, a Mages skin tone takes on an irregular hue, making them easily identifiable. In continuing their studies, some mages delved into a darker magic. These darker secrets were banned from use by the Order; those who practiced them became outcasts and were driven north. Regardless of which path was taken, the most powerful mages became either Arch Mages or Witches and were capable of incredible devastation. With the new feeling of evil washing over Iris and tensions high between the Titans and Knights of Apollon, the Order of Mages has become active again. A small group of mages supporting the Light have emerged from their studies to aid in the struggle against their darker breathrens. Those who choose to remain neutral have also emerged wanting to remove any threat that comes against the Irisian people. Which path will you journey down? Will you swear your allegiance to a God or remain neutral? The choice is yours.

Mage is a very versatile class that uses magic power to create strong magical attack to hit their enemies with. Mages do a large amount of damage at one time because it hits regardless of physical defense. Mages are also notable for being the only class to have an area of effect skill to hit multiple enemies at one time. Generally mages put stats into their intelligence for magic attack, and mana, as well as constitution for health, and mana. Having full intelligence gives you a higher attack power but it is not recommended for lower levels. For beginning users it is best if they stat 2/3s constitution and 1/3 intelligence for faster leveling. The mages area of effect skill, when its strong enough can be used to kill multiple monsters easily for faster leveling. However mages have their downfall in their defense and health. Mages have one of the lowest hit points in the game and have low defense at lower levels. However at level thirty-one you get to choose one of the two secondary classes for the mage: a powerful Wizard with enough magic power to kill the enemy in a few hits, or a deadly Witch that can curse you, lowering your attack and defense. Overall mages are a good class and gets invited in many parties due to their support skills they can use to help party members.

Stat Points

Each character has four stat types, representing the characters attributes. Characters gain one “Stat Point” every level that can be invested into any one of the four stat types. Investment into the stat types will affect the Character Attributes of the character.

Stat Types

Strength – Increases Attack, and gives a small amount of Health and Mana
Dexterity – Increases & Improves Attack Speed, Evasion, Hitrates.
Intelligence – Increases Mana, and Magic Attack.
Constitution – Increases your Maximum Health, and your Maximum Mana.

Stat Guide

There is 3 different ways to start your mage. I will list all of them.

The most Basic way to stat your mage is to do pure Int for damage and mana. its not balanced well and you wont have much health or defense but you will be very powerful. A more balanced way is to but 2/3 to int and 1/3 to cons it give more hp at the loss of some pure damage. The other way is to go pure cons to have high amounts of mana and hp with a loss of power. you will be able to cast more spells but they wont do nearly as much damage as pure int.
